The village is situated near by the famous Black Sea resort of Bulgaria – Nessebar, one of the oldest towns of Europe, located on a small peninsula, not far from the international summer resort Sunny Beach. The town bears witness to the development of several civilizations. Once the town used to have more than 40 churches and some of them still exist for the visitors to enjoy their fine Byzantine architecture. Nessebar is included in the UNESCO list of world heritage.
