Bandar Seri Begawan - The Empire Brunei Apartment Hotel & Country Club recently welcomed a group of travel consultants from United Kingdom who were on a familiarisation trip to Brunei in order to gain a first hand experience of the Sultanate in order to market it effectively in the United Kingdom.

The group was headed by Deborah Whitehair, Royal Brunei Airline's representative from the United Kingdom, and included nine travel consultants from Bath Travel, Thomas Cook, DeltaTravel, Harvey Woh Travel, Freedom Australia, Ace Travel and Gold Medal, all of whom are the top travel agencies in the United Kingdom selling Royal Brunei Airline's Golden Touch Holiday packages.

Mr. Andy Hoskin, an Editor form BMI Publications was also part of the group. BMI Publications publishes several quality travel magazines and brochures such as Selling Long Houl, Short Breaks, Buying Business Travel, Selling Cruisingand more.

At the Hotel, Olivia Teo, Sales Manager of The Empire Hotel & Country Club brought the group for a tour of The Empire Hotel & Country Club who showed them many different rooms and suites as well as the facilities available. The group also managed to enjoy some of the various recreational facilities at the Hotel.

With daily flights by Royal Brunei Airlines to London, The Empire Hotel & Country Club hopes that through initiatives such as these, more guests from the United Kingdom will choose to visit Brunei for a holiday.
