(2007-05-08) Buying properties in Azerbaijan Azerbaijan to Establish Professional Realtor Association
Ibrahimov, the Executive Director of the International Real Estate Fund (IREF) has said today that IREF is interested in Azerbaijan’s real estate market and the sector of property management in Azerbaijan.
According to Mr. Ibrahimov, during his first meeting with Norman Flynn, Chairman of IREF, Flynn proposed to establish “Professional Association of Azerbaijani Realtors”.
The objective of IREF is to exchange professional experience and practice in the field of real estate with developed and developing countries worldwide. The Fund has already established such professional associations in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia.
According to Mr. Ibrahimov, signing of the long-term bilateral agreement between IREF and Azerbaijan’s “Real Estate Market Participants” is expected to take place tomorrow. In addition, The International Fund has offered a two-year technical support to Azerbaijan.
